ACLU of Nevada Program Assistant Job Posting
The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLUNV) seeks applicants for Program Assistant position in Reno. The Program Assistant reports to the Policy Director and may receive assignments from other senior leadership staff as the position is designed to provide cross-departmental support. This individual will split their time between office management and programs support tasks including community outreach, volunteer coordination, event support, educational programming, and legal intake.
They work closely with the Policy, Legal, and Development departments on a variety of strategic initiatives, increase public awareness and appreciation of civil liberties, advocate for positive changes in the civil liberties landscape, and engage supporters in achieving our mission.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour. Excellent benefits include generous paid-time off; medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and long-term disability insurance; defined contribution plan with employer match; and twelve paid holidays.
The ACLUNV is Nevada’s largest and most active organization devoted to the protection and advancement of civil rights and civil liberties and one of the state’s most effective public interest nonprofits.
