The ACLU of Nevada, an affiliate of the national American Civil Liberties Union, is a dynamic organization dedicated to protecting civil liberties across the state of Nevada. The Digital Communications Intern will work with the Communications and Outreach Department throughout the summer to engage Nevada communities on civil rights issues through social media and other digital platforms. This is a non-exempt, part-time, temporary position paying $15/hour.

The Digital Communications Internship begins after Memorial Day. This position is expected to work 20 hours each week, but the ACLU of Nevada will be flexible around the incumbent’s academic and work schedules as much as we are able. This is a hybrid remote/in-person position.
The ACLU of Nevada will select one candidate for this internship period. Applicants can be undergrad, graduate students, recently graduated, or self-taught. We prefer majors in Journalism, Communications, or Marketing. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent writing and digital production abilities — please share a link to your portfolio or provide work samples when applying.
